Pungo River Pharmacy is owned and operated by Scott John Ellis. He graduated pharmacy school from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985. He came back to Belhaven, North Carolina to take over his father’s pharmacy.

Pungo River Pharmacy is a full service, independent pharmacy offering friendly hometown health care. We accept all insurances and will special order any item that you may require.

Our pharmacy focuses on patient care, and will not treat you like a number. We are here to provide quality healthcare which doesn’t stop at just medicine. In today’s world the relationship between the pharmacist and customer has been lost. We hope to bring that back.
